OSApps provides instant web-enabled applications. We host premier Open Source web applications, and provide an easy interface to install and manage them. You basically click the Install button to immediately install the application on our secure servers. The selected application is immediately available for use. Applications can be uninstalled at any time. Once an application is installed, there are many ways to access the application including a specific hyperlink, or we provide instructions for installing a custom CNAME dns record for your domain or an iframe snippet for inclusion in your website. Since the applications are Open Source, the only cost is that of the hosting server resources and so the pricing is extremely cost-effective. Applications start at $1 per month.

We are impressed every day with the Open Source community, who develops and provides superior software continuously. Open Source (read this link for more about Open Source) web applications are easy for us to install, but that is because we are computer technicians and developers. All web applications require an environment, like a server with specific requirements (like a Linux server running Apache, MySQL and supporting PHP). Because of this requirement, there are many people who could benefit from Open Source applications, but don’t. That is why we launched osapps.com, to make the world’s open source applications available to everyone.
